The IQS Business Foundation was established on November 17, 1958 to provide moral and material support to IQS.
The idea came from the then Director of the IQS, Fr Salvador Gil, on the occasion of the resonance in all areas of the celebration of 50 years of IQS and the tribute to its founder Fr Eduardo Vitoria on the occasion of turning 90 years.
IQS, a center of the Society of Jesus, is one of the most prestigious university centers on the national and international academic stage. With more than 100 years of teaching experience, IQS is a reference institution that is committed to responding to the new challenges posed by the current social, economic and industrial context.
IQS, founder member of Ramon Llull University, has evolved from its roots in chemistry to its current configuration: two university schools, IQS School of Engineering and IQS School of Management; a company, IQS PEINUSA, through which it carries out research, innovation and technology transfer for industry and business; and an IQS Executive Education division, which provides specialist training for professionals and businesses. This entire structure is supported by a large group of companies, through the IQS Companies Foundation.
Comprehensive training of people with attitudes, knowledge and skills that empower and encourage them in their personal and professional development form part of the mission of IQS. Because of its scientific tradition, IQS provides Degree, Double degree, Master’s degree and Doctorate programs in chemistry, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, pharmacy, biotechnology, and bioengineering through the IQS School of Engineering, and provides qualifications in business administration through the IQS School of Management.
