The University Of Zurich (UZH) located in the city of Zurich and it is the largest university in Switzerland. It was founded on April 29, 1833.It was founded by Huldrych Zwingli in 1525. From the existing colleges of theology, law, medicine and a new faculty of philosophy. (UZH) was the first university in Europe to be established by a democratic government rather than a monarch or the church. Zurich is a major city for business and finance, as well as culture - home to myriad museums, art galleries, theatres and orchestras. UZH is a member of the League of European Research Universities.
