Wound healing center- Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is a non-profitable organization health system which helps to improving the health and quality of life of the people of Northeast Georgia. They serve service with their medical staff of more than 600 physicians, the provide utmost medical service for the residents of northeast Georgia. Their mission is to improve the health of their community in all aspects.
Northeast Georgia Medical Center is fully accredited by DNV Healthcare, which is the first new federally approved accreditation option for hospitals in several decades. It is a complete redesign of accreditation standards that offers NGMC the opportunity to simultaneously satisfy its Medicare compliance requirements for reimbursement and implement the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
NGHS locations are around 50 places to serve people throughout northeast Georgia. the Health System also strives to bring primary care and specialty services closer to home through Northeast Georgia Physicians Group. They also established Heart Center of Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) is the largest cardiology practice in the region, with more than 25 physicians seeing patients at 12 locations Blairsville, Braselton, Buford, Cumming, Clayton, Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Demorest, Gainesville, Hamilton Mill, Lavonia and Winder.
Wound Healing Center treats chronic, non-healing wounds, which are often a sign of medical conditions that need immediate treatment. Many traumatic wounds, such as burns, lacerations and abrasions, also require advanced wound therapies to fight infection and heal properly. It has provided a comprehensive, clinically proven wound healing program. Our multidisciplinary team of board-certified physicians, nurses and technologists diagnose and treat many chronic and acute wounds.
